The game

Rocket City CC — The Game is a free browser-based experience that lets you explore photorealistic 3D representations of real cities. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any city, agency, park operator, resort, hotel, brand, team, venue or landmark that appears in it — including but not limited to the City of Huntsville, NASA, Google, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, the Rocket City Trash Pandas, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Destinations & Experiences, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, or any hotel brand.

Real place names — cities, parks, rides, venues, hotels — are used descriptively, to identify the actual places the map shows, in the same way a map or a guidebook names them. No logo, wordmark, costumed character, trade dress or other protected artwork of any of those parties is reproduced in the game; every model and sign in it is original work.

Acceptable use

Don't use the game to harass others or to attempt to identify, track, or target any individual.
Don't misuse, scrape, or attempt to overload the map, leaderboard, or multiplayer services.
Emoji reactions and callsigns are the only user content; don't attempt to submit anything unlawful.

Map & data notice

The 3D imagery is Google's publicly available Photorealistic 3D Tiles — the same data anyone can view in Google Earth. Building, road, and camera data come from OpenStreetMap and the community DeFlock project and are already public. The game does not reveal anything not already publicly available, and sensitive sites are restricted at the data source. As a courtesy, the playable area excludes Redstone Arsenal / Marshall Space Flight Center airspace. Locations shown are approximate and provided for entertainment only.

Sponsorships & advertising

The game may display sponsored placements, event missions, a permanent per-city billboard and an on-screen banner. Sponsored content does not imply the game endorses the advertiser, or vice versa. Any coupons or offers are the responsibility of the sponsoring business.

Affiliate disclosure. Some outbound links — notably the BOOK HERE button on hotel cards — are affiliate links, and the operators may earn a commission if you book through one. It costs you nothing extra. Which hotels appear is decided by the OpenStreetMap data for that city, not by who pays: no business can buy its way onto the map, and paying does not move, enlarge or favour a location in the game.

Bookings, prices, availability and cancellations are entirely between you and the booking site or hotel. This game is not a travel agent, takes no payment, and is not a party to your reservation.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The game is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the game.

Map data © Google. Buildings, roads, and ALPR-camera data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), via DeFlock. Use of the map imagery is also governed by the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service.
